Vurno vs TrustEngine

TrustEngine helps you present the loan. Vurno keeps the client after it closes.

MortgageCoach is a presentation and decision tool for the loan in front of you: scenarios, wealth math, a documented conversation. Vurno starts the day after closing: the monthly report under your brand, the heat score, the to-do list with the message drafted, and the agents you're courting. They meet at one point, knowing when a past client is ready to act. Here is the honest side-by-side.

In fairness

Where TrustEngine is stronger.

If one of these is the thing you need, TrustEngine is the better buy today, and we’d rather you know before the trial than after.

  • The presentation

MortgageCoach is built for the conversation with a borrower who is deciding now: scenarios side by side, the wealth math, a record of what was shown. Vurno has nothing like it and isn't trying to.

  • The LOS connection

A native Encompass integration, pricing engines, fee providers and mortgage-insurance companies all feed the presentation. Vurno takes closed loans in by CSV, email, webhook or CRM tag.

  • Credit triggers

TrustEngine can tell you when a past client's credit is pulled by another lender. Vurno watches the home and the homeowner's engagement with your emails and page, never their credit file.

  • Enterprise fit

Compliance documentation, branch support, SFTP and twenty-plus integrations for lenders rolling it out to every loan officer. Vurno is built for a loan officer or a small team.

Why loan officers pick Vurno

Six things that are different on day one.

  1. 01

It works after the loan closes

MortgageCoach ends when the borrower decides. Vurno starts there: every home valued on a schedule, every rate gap and PMI opportunity surfaced, and a report under your brand that keeps you in their inbox.

  2. 02

The client hears from you without you doing anything

A monthly or quarterly report that teases the value, shows the sales nearby and brings the homeowner to a page where they can ask you a question. That question lands on your list and on your phone.

  3. 03

    You start with a list

Every morning: who listed, who went hot, whose rate crossed, who asked a question, each with the call, email and text drafted.

  4. 04

    Agents, too

Search a ZIP, grade the agents, move the good ones through a pipeline. From Meeting Set on, Vurno watches their listings and closings and drafts the congratulations.

  5. 05

Less to pay for a bigger book

$97 a month covers 500 homes and 10 watched agents, with no setup fee and a 14-day trial. TrustEngine is $150 per user before any of the integrations.

  6. 06

Works with the tools you have

Closed loans come in by CSV, by email, by webhook or from GoHighLevel and Follow Up Boss. Signals go back out the same way.

Questions people ask when they’re switching.

Is Vurno a replacement for MortgageCoach?

No. MortgageCoach is for presenting a loan to a borrower who is deciding now. Vurno is for the clients you already closed. A loan officer who wants both would run both; they don't overlap except in knowing when a past client is ready to act.

What happened to Sales Boomerang?

Sales Boomerang and Mortgage Coach merged and became TrustEngine. As of the date in the footnote, trustengine.com sells one product, MortgageCoach, and lists credit triggers as a line item in it. The old Sales Boomerang pages no longer resolve.

Does Vurno alert me when a past client's credit is pulled?

No. Vurno watches the home and the homeowner's engagement with your emails and page: value, equity, listing status, rate gap, PMI, questions they ask you. Nothing from a credit file.

Where do the home values come from?

Zillow, Redfin and Realtor.com estimates, blended, refreshed on a schedule, with recent sales nearby from the same sources. Rates are Freddie Mac's national weekly average for a 30-year fixed.

Is there a contract?

No. Plans are month to month or annual, and you cancel from Billing. The trial is 14 days with no card.

Is this comparison up to date?

The TrustEngine column was read from their public product, integrations and pricing pages on the date in the footnote, with links. If something has changed, tell us at support@vurno.io and we'll fix it.

Try it on ten of your own closed loans.

Import them tonight. Tomorrow morning you’ll have a real report, a real to-do list and a real agent grade to judge it by. No card.

TrustEngine details were read from their public pages on 10-05-2026: trustengine.com/mortgage-coach/mc-shop, trustengine.com/product, trustengine.com/mortgage-coach/mc-loan-officers, trustengine.com/mortgage-coach/mc-integrations, trustengine.com/about. Prices and features change; if something here is out of date, write to support@vurno.io and we’ll correct it.
